The Story

Coach Georgia — Coach G to her athletes — is a former Division 1 starting catcher at the University of North Alabama, where she competed against programs including Alabama, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and Baylor. That experience didn't just make her a better player. It showed her exactly what separates good athletes from great ones.
Her coaching identity started with a foundation built by her father, was developed further by a standout 16u coach when she was just 12, and was refined through her D1 playing and coaching career. She took every lesson, every correction, and every hard rep and turned it into a system she could teach.
In 2023, Coach G completed her Epstein Hitting Certification at the University of South Carolina Softball Stadium — one of the most rigorous hitting coach certifications available. The Epstein method is rooted in biomechanics and used at the highest levels of the game. It's the backbone of everything she teaches at GLT.
She runs Georgia Land Training in Lawrenceburg, TN — offering private lessons, group training, clinics, and the 3-Day Hitting Boot Camp. Her vision from the beginning has been simple: every athlete deserves elite coaching, regardless of where they come from or what they can afford.

Most coaches focus on what they can see — the hands, the bat, the follow-through. Coach G starts from the ground up. Get the sequencing right and everything else follows.

The same goes for defense. Knowing where to be before the ball is hit, reading the play, communicating with your teammates — that's what separates good athletes from great ones.
